Wool buffing pads are made w/ 100% wool and are generally 1 & 1/2" high pile or 50-50 blend of wool and acrylic. Soft - finishing wool pads are invariablly done w/ 100% soft lambs wool, w/ or w/o velcro. Similarlly buffing or cutting pads are designed either w/ or w/o velcro. Use of velcro allows ease of use. Pad w/ velcro are easy to put on and remove w/o trying to mess w/ screw on bolts. If screw-on pads are not properly tightened they can damage the paint.
